I love love love the Coens. But I couldn’t finish this. It has earned my lowest rating for being deplorable. I almost feel bad logging it here; I’m practically embarrassed to admit that this film in the Coens’ filmography exists.
Even the best of us still make unbearable garbage, I guess.
Go watch the original! It’s fun and weird and dark and surprisingly grim.
