I’ve seen the movie a few times now, and I like it well enough. It’s an excellent and well made film. But I don’t understand the way critics rally around it like it’s the best thing the Coen Bros. have ever made.

The movie is quietly discomforting, sometimes hilarious, but never as good as their later films. It’s definitely not O Brother or No Country for Old Men

Good. Just not awe-inspiring for me.
