I really need to write the good folks at Disney and ILM a letter to thank them for making these wonderful movies. Rogue One is great, and I’m super jazzed about the future of this franchise. It’s pretty clear Star Wars is in good hands.

Two quick thoughts: the aerial dogfights are the best since Jedi. And the movie is weird, the way the originals are. And that’s exactly how Star Wars should be. I figured last year that TFA played it safe so we knew Disney respected the fans, and I hoped they’d start making them weird and quirky soon. And they did. Rogue One is weird and quirky, and awesome. You should totally see it.
