Unbelievably good. Reminiscent of The Conversation, among many other 70s thrillers, without ever being entirely deferential. Almost fifteen years on, I don’t think it’s too early to call this a classic. Would have loved to see them make the remaining two films out of the Karla trilogy, because this is like drinking water from a well in the desert.
