Brad Bird is so good at this. Really well directed. He has a knack for getting your eye to look where he wants it to look. 

This feels like the first film in the franchise with a bit of Buster Keaton influence too. Love that. 

And I don’t know whose idea it was, but the running joke that the technology the IMF has is as prone to failure as any other computer — whether it’s the Kremlin gag, the glove in Dubai, or the magnet controller in India — it’s a great joke. Perfect for this series. 

A genuinely excellent movie, and probably what I’d pick for the quintessential Mission film if you only got to watch one.
