Probably my personal favourite of the early Coen Bros’ material. A lot to dig into here, but still enjoyable without the thematic context. I think it would easily stand up to multiple viewings. John Goodman is, as always, the MVP. Roger Deakins doing the Lord’s work. Great stuff.
