A film about the series of micro-disappointments that often fill adulthood, directed with deftness, but absolutely lived in by Louis-Dreyfus. She is sensational in a difficult role that often walks the thin line between excruciatingly sad and hilariously dumb. Relatable and heartfelt without ever dipping into overt sentimentality.
