Holy smokes. One of the best films I’ve seen in my whole life, I think. Kubrick’s command of the whole frame is incredible. Kirk Douglas is amazing. The final scene shocked me, then moved me to tears. It weighs on me still.
There aren’t many films as powerful as this.
