An awful lot of exposition, but the characters are so well written and acted that it basically doesn’t matter.
Another note: We watched the 4k Blu-ray and it is shocking to me how little Universal cares about this movie’s presentation or visual fidelity. The movie has been scrubbed clean of detail, the effects need to be exported at a higher resolution for today’s more demanding screens, and I’m almost positive a lot of the colours are wrong. (How does this film always look worse than everything else Spielberg has ever made?)
