It’s an absolute masterpiece. Exquisitely shot, perfectly cast. Laced with so much cinema that it feels like you need to read several essays on the film after the fact. And when you’re done that, maybe do a deep dive on the Zodiac killer for good measure. 

It’s a perfect match between the most obsessive director of our time and the source material, and the best procedural I think anybody has ever made. 

Outside of some of the bad CGI (the exterior shots in particular), this is aging wonderfully.
