Did basically nothing I like, and had a premise that felt like it was cashing in on my own late college years — but in a way that made me grimace. (I too lost 50lbs, quit a bad partying and drinking vice, and found a new circle of friends.)
Strongly dislike these “chick flick” trends, which this movie is obsessed with:
- club scenes
- bad (and bass-heavy) dance and pop music
- infographic-style CGI (like the map during the marathon in this)
FWIW though, my wife loved this.
