Exceptionally good script. Strong performances. The mother is incredibly abusive, and I don’t buy that any reconciliation could happen on this movie’s timeline. Kinda ruined it for me. Not sure I get the hype.
Also watched it at peak exhaustion, so that could play into my overall rating. Sorry if you’re a fan.
