Attempts to tell an atypical love story, codifies every character the same way Hollywood always has, and then makes it clear it’s not okay to be single. And the movie has no idea what’s good about being single, or what’s hard about relationships.

Problematic on every level. Rebel Wilson is supposed to be funny because she’s fat, but also sexually wild, I guess? And George is totally a brown guy, and he’s a little weird (but not because he’s brown), but they needed to cast a brown person somewhere, so why not George

It’s like somebody with a high schooler’s conception of love and romance wrote this waste of a movie.
