In hindsight, this was far and away the best X‑Men movie at the time of its release. It is still one of the best. What a cast! Forgettable and regrettably boring villain, which really hampers the rest of the proceedings.
I am still waiting for somebody to cast Fassbender in something that resembles Lawrence of Arabia. He steals every scene in this film.
