Liked it a lot more the second time. The grit, the grime, the rain. A prototype Heat for a slice of its budget. Similar theme. Some great visuals too. Amazing to see Mann’s taste to clearly formed at such a young age.
Loved the shot of the gangster from the floor, slightly out of focus as the deal with the devil became crystal clear.
