It’s just not funny, or particularly interesting. This multiverse thing has to stop, and unfortunately, making fun of something doesn’t give you a blank cheque to do the same thing. (Mockery is not subversion.)
Hugh Jackman really is perfect at this role, though. He’s a joy to watch. If this really is his last go in the spandex, he’s left impossible shoes to fill.
