Keanu Reeves’s deadpan delivery steals the show in this one. Aziz does a decent job with his first feature length direction, but I wish he would put in a little more effort to expand his perspective. I’ve seen most of these characters in his other work before, and it’s odd to feel like he’s repeating himself in his first go around.

But Keanu as a down-on-his-luck angel fully experiencing the world for the first time? That’s great fun.
