Been a busy couple weeks, so I ordered a pizza and watched a scrawny kid get trained in the ways of the mystical arts by a little green puppet before getting into a fight with an evil arch wizard. One of the best movies ever.
We never give Empire enough credit for its dialogue. It’s an incredibly quotable movie with elegant and minimalist lines, especially compared to modern blockbusters. The quips here are quick and relentless, and make a lot of our current movies appear way too wordy.
