I’m not sure this had any redeemable qualities. Maybe a couple people really giving their all for performances? 

Even the most creatively brilliant of us make bad work some days. On one hand, Ethan demonstrated how important his collaboration with his brother is. But on the other hand, I can absolutely see how a project can turn out this bad. (And it’s not like Joel and Ethan never made a stinker before.) One or two bad decisions early on and you’re in the dark a few months later. 

Not a good movie, though.
