This was fine, but frustratingly incomplete. It needed more time to let us grow attached to the characters. I didn’t buy the second half of the movie at all; the relationship between Tilda and Ibris felt completely forced to me. I wanted to understand why Tilda developed the longing. I wanted the film to tie it all together coherently and give it all meaning.
That being said, the vignettes throughout the first half were lovely.
