I loved the animatronics and physical effects and that approach. The movie itself was fine, perfectly forgettable Friday night fluff that nobody will remember this time next year. It also wasn’t that funny.
In the realm of Chris Pine franchise films, I would rank this around the same spot as Star Trek: Beyond, so pretty forgettable.
I preferred Game Night.
