In university, I tried my hand at poker for a night. First time I ever gambled, and I (luckily) cleaned out the entire table over the course of a couple hours. I didn’t make much money or anything, but the sheer luck involved kind of terrified me. Right around then is when I figured gambling isn’t for me.

That’s a long-winded way of saying that, while a lot of people cleary love this, this wasn’t for me. I found absolutely nothing I could relate to here until the last two minutes of the film, and sort of felt like I needed a shower after.

That being said, I want to have at least one friend like Elliot Gould: somebody who randomly shows up at my home wearing a somebrero and carrying a giant piñata parrot.
