A lot of hilarious moments, and I loved the whole cast (particularly Jack Lemmon in both roles), but this was so relentlessly long and self-indulgent that it constantly spent whatever good will it garnered. You could easily have split this up into two unrelated films and gotten the runtime to 90 minutes or less, which would have been about right.
