Need to see it again, but on first blush I’ll say it took way too long to develop the mystery, and it felt like it was immediately over. The first was a great film — too early to call it a classic? — but this feels like a sophomore slump.

Part of the joy of the first is the way you can kind of relate to the family. It’s a lot harder to relate to insane billionaires. I didn’t care who did it or why they did it; everybody in this was an un-relatable jerk.

I reserve the right to change my mind next time around.
