Nobody would ever compare the quality of this to, say, Goodfellas, but this might be Jon Favreau’s masterpiece. It’s messy, but it’s so flavourful and passionate and real that it’s hard not to fall in love.

It’s a movie about the joy of making things. We don’t have enough movies about that. This is, for me, an all-timer picture-perfect comfort food movie. Favreau in this movie is who I want to be when I grow up and stop taking my little design studio so seriously.

Would pair perfectly with Ratatouille.
