An unbelievably gorgeous film. Hadn’t watched in nearly 10 years, and the last time I watched this I wrote it off as boring and overhyped. I had no memory of it anymore, aside from my prior reaction, and can’t believe how wrong I was. This is a masterpiece, a near perfect film, rendered perfectly to celluloid by masters of their craft. One could not ask for more.
