We had tickets for Spider-Man but decided not to go because of increasing COVID numbers. I am still sad about that.
Anyway, this was fine. Obvious Oscar bait is obvious. Excellent acting, as you all know. Great soundtrack from Johnny Greenwood, who is the best.
I’m glad this wasn’t just some rote biopic, but I remain unconvinced that this is an improvement over Jackie. Still feels forced.
