Better than it has any right to be. Some serious personality coming through here, which is what makes this not terrible. First I hated the voiceover and the style, but then I realized this is meant to be Devil Wears Prada and a bit of Fight Club and Goodfellas too, and I just went with it.
It’s way too long and flawed as heck, but this might be Disney’s best live action effort in years. Maybe ever.
