The first two acts are a delight, but act three quickly takes a dive as the film lives up to its obligation” to provide an action-packed finale it doesn’t really need. This cast is much funnier when they’re yelling at each other, rather than screaming at zombies.

But it’s not as bad as people say. The first film was like discovering a great restaurant: a magical experience. This return trip to Zombieland doesn’t live up to that first meal, but it turns out I still like this restaurant.
