Is what we make beautiful or destructive? What about how we live?

A career high for Miyazaki. His best? Maybe. Certainly his most universal, beautiful tale. A bittersweet story perfectly told, and one that Miyazaki — a man who has dedicated his entire life to the act of creation — is perfect to tell. The dream sequences are on par with Fellini.

A sensational masterpiece.
