Exceptionally well directed. Obviously incredible performances, etc. Runs a little long, and some plot elements feel more than a little forced. Neither of these problems would be noticeable if it weren’t otherwise so unbelievably excellent. Far and away still the best super hero movie. Crazy how many movies have ripped this off ceaselessly for over a decade.
Chose to watch this during the US election week, and, uh, this movie is very unrealistic. Pretty sure they’d turn the Joker into a celebrity candidate for president and he’d easily win a term.
