We’ve had four or five different Spider-Man appearances across major movies and video games (that PS4 game slated) over the past year and a half. Now we know, when it comes to Spider-Man, you can never have too much of a good thing.
Into the Spider-Verse’s animation is refreshing and fascinating. The story doesn’t feel like superhero fare, and the film is truly self-contained (which is a miracle and a huge selling point). And unlike nearly every other superhero movie since The Dark Knight, Into the Spider-Verse truly has something to say.
