Beautifully shot on great film stock. Wonderful script. Incredible acting, especially from the child actors. Feels incredibly authentic, and the way Jenkins just lingers and frames all those emotions with the camera is incredible.

Plus, the story on display here — about our yearning for intimacy and the need to break down those walls — is immensely, profoundly beautiful. Like Carol, or Lost in Translation. Perhaps a new classic.
