This didn’t know what it wanted to be. The “science” is nonsense, the characters make awful decisions all the time, and the story has more holes than Swiss cheese.
There are some cool sequences though, the best involving a bear. But these sequences are stitched together in a lame movie.
Ex Machina, from the same director, shared similar themes and was a much better film.
