First time seeing this, and wow, what a classic. The only issue with Rear Window is its ending: like many classic Hitchcock films, the ending is abruptly explained for the audience by a person of authority — without any fanfare or sense of revelation.

Considering how well Hitch’a movies have aged otherwise, this is almost a moot point. But if modern cinema has ruined us for anything, it’s old-school endings like this.

Otherwise, a fantastic film with a truly great single-room setup. A riveting thriller.
