I thought it was a very good movie, on the same level as Monsters Inc (which it often reminded me of). I don’t think this is the classic some others are making it out to be. Inside Out was better, and I don’t think this will have the same legs as Tangled or Frozen with families. So I’m mildly frustrated by all the effusive praise.
With that all being said, I am hoping to have the opportunity to see it again. It’s an enjoyable cop romp that has a touch of Chinatown influence, and it’s the latest in a string of Disney successes. Looking forward to catching it again on Netflix.
